The Cicada Spoke Today...

Today, I crossed paths with a rare and ancient messenger—the cicada.

With fiery red eyes, shimmering wings like stained glass, and a body forged in silence and soil, it appeared suddenly, as if summoned by the rhythm of something far greater. Cicadas spend most of their lives underground, unseen, unheard, patiently growing… until the perfect moment arrives. This rare species of cicada has been waiting 13-17 years to emerge.

And when they do come out of earth, they don’t crawl quietly—they sing.

This sacred encounter is a message for us, my beautiful soul family:

You are in your season of emergence.

You’ve done the hidden work. You’ve walked through shadow, waited in silence, and transformed in ways the world couldn’t see. But the Divine sees. And now? You’re being called to rise. To be seen. To be heard. To step into your light with the courage to sing your truth.

The cicada teaches us about:

Divine Timing – Trust that your moment is arriving.

Rebirth – A new version of you is being born.

Resilience – Your quiet endurance is sacred.

Expression – Your voice is your power. Use it.
